10 abducted Bethel Baptist High School students regains freedom

Ten more out of the 21 students of Baptist High School, Damishi, Kaduna, kidnapped by bandits on Sunday regains freedom.

The students were released on a sunday afternoon and have since then returned to their parents.

The state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. John Joseph Hayab, told News men that the remaining 11 students are still in the hands of the bandits and they are trying all possible best to get things sorted and help them return to thier parents as early as possible.

While speaking on Sunday,he said, “We are still pleading with the bandits to please have mercy on the students and the parents to release the students for them to be reunited with their parents and for the parents to have peace in their hearts.
He thanked have all Nigerians for their prayers and support and expressed confidence that the prayers of his children would not go in vain, calling on Nigerians to continue to pray for the release of those in captivity.

Recall that the 121 students of Bethel Baptist High School, Damishi, Kaduna, were abducted in their school on 5th July 2021 and since then they have been released in batches with 11 of the abducted students still in the hands of the kidnappers at the present moment.

He however assured that the remaining will return to their parents soon,all hands are on deck to put thing’s in place
