Football publication FourFourTwo has released their rankings of the world’s top 10 midfielders on Thursday.

In the world of football, Midfielders are generally positioned on the field between their team’s defenders and forwards. Some midfielders play a strictly-defined defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are otherwise known as defensive midfielders.

UEFA midfielder of the year and former World Cup winner N’Golo Kante is as low as 7th on the list, with Chelsea teammate Jorginho ahead of him.
