The heavy weight unification bout between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has reportedly been scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia.
Negotiation between the two parties has been on for weeks now and Eddie Hearn the boxing promoter admitted that the self-imposed deadline were missed.
However, the official date has been fixed and it is said to be on the 24th of July 2021 but tentatively, at most early August according to Eddie Hearn.
In his words: “We haven’t finalised an exact date, July 24th is the rough date but it may leak into early August but no later than that. The Olympic will be a different timezone so it’s not really in the mindset.”
Meanwhile, a rematch worth £500 million is billed to take place in London later in the year as the world is set for blockbuster boxing showdown.
