One of the most respected monarchs, The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has joined his ancestors.
Though the death is yet to be announced officially but sources at the palace who claimed to be anonymous confirmed the death of Oba Saliu Adetunji
He was aged 93. He was also a successful businessman and his town was in peaceful coexistence during his tenure.
He was crowned the Olubadan on March 4, 2016.Naijlord correspondent, Abudullateef Fowewe while speaking with the source said that he died at the University College Hospital (UCH) in the early hours of Sunday following a small illness.
Ekarun Olubadan and High Chief Amidu Ajibade also confirmed his death.
