Aggressive Students of the Polytechnic Ibadan has commenced a protest over Hostel refusal payment and poor Students Portal.
The protest which commenced on the 9th January 2023 at the institution South gate.
Hostel Refusal fee which was mandated for #15,000 Naira only a huge difference from the #5,000 as expected by the student.
The full payment for hostel fee is #30,000 which students who ain’t residing in the hostel can pay the refusal fee in order to proceed with other payments and registration.
According to the institution’s Calendar the First semester examination was scheduled to commence today 9th January 2023.
Some of the concerned students which are mostly freshers expressed their plight for the payment, stating that they are unable to pay School fee, pay other fees and Register for their courses.
Currently the south gate is locked and students are currently protesting outside Campus a cause of huge gridlock at the Sango axis.
