IBCASAN host 10th August Camp, Encourages severs to be Outstanding

Ibadan catholic Altar severs Association of Nigeria has celebrated her 10th Edition of the August camp 2022 tagged “Inside Out: Being pure Starts from Within.

The event which was hosted at St Theresa Minor Seminary, Oke Are Ibadan.

The 10th edition is regarded as the most populated camp the Association will ever host.

The event which commenced on the 23rd August and elapsed on the 26th, August 2022.

The event which hosted over 450 participants from the Archdiocese of Ibadan and over 7 Priest and a Seminarian.

The chaplain, Rev.Fr. Christopher Areoye while welcoming participants to the event Encouraged them to make use of the opportunity and make use of the avenue to Gain Spirituality, Educative and also have Fun.

A plus to the camp, 3 Reverend Fathers had their 3rd Priestly Anniversary at the camp, Fr Emmanuel Eseola, Fr Peter Ibimiluyi and Fr Christopher Olupoye.

While speaking on the theme, Fr Barnabas Ademu OSJ challenged the Servers to strive for Purity as the Nature of purity starts from within.

The liturgical analyst and lecturer, Fr Godwin  from the Domican community spoke on the need for a blissful liturgical gathering and a well apprehended Liturgical celebration.

Also at the event was Rev.Fr. Clement Emerue, head of the Quiz and a teacher on the need for well detailed catechesis.

The Chaplin, Fr Areoye also emphasized on the need for the camp, he stated that the Camp was an avenue to Interact, learn and have a memorable experience for the few days.

At the event, Quiz competition , Sport Completion and Debate was done amongst Different Parishes represented at the camp

He also stated that the event was challenging, and staressed that the bedrock need for the event is to expose the Association and planing committee for a greater task ahead  for the subsequent edition of the Camp.

Blessing Ighabor a participant at the Camp spoke on the timing at the event and also showed her discomfort for not ending the program on Saturday.

A participant at the event from St Mary’s Cathedral, James Amah openly tagged the event has a little boring event and however found fun at the end.

Chairman of the Event, Mr Emmanuel Aranrie, tagged the event as a tasking one with a higher number which demanded more and long lasting Preparation.

He also appreciated the Planing committee for their cooperation and a job well done after giving a high Kudos to the Chaplin.

The planing committee involved from Food, Finance , liturgy, publicity, protocol, social’s, accreditation, accommodation and others.
