Oyo State Government has discard the third term for 2019/2020 academic session in all primary and secondary schools in the state.
With the development, students would be promoted based on their academic performances in the first and second terms of the suspended session.
The schools were shut down As a Result of coronavirus.
The directive formed part of decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting on Tuesday.
Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Olasunkanmi Olaleye, said students in terminal classes, including Primary six, Junior Secondary School 3 and Senior Secondary School 3, are to proceed on proceed on holiday from July 30 and resume for examination in the revised academic calendar.
