The ugly experience which occur when the University officers were returning to Abuja from Sokoto after a wedding ceremony of the daughter of the School’s Chancellor, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III was narrated by the Media Assistant to the VC; Sunday Saanu, on one of his social media accounts which he gave the title “WERE IT NOT FOR GOD!.”

He pointed out that almost all management members of the University of Ibadan and even the groom himself were on the plane and it was just God that saved them from the plane crash that wanted to occur.

Olatunji Oladejo, Protocol Officer, Samuel Badejo, and
Sunday Sannu, the Media Assistant to the VC.
